you have already proven to be a good interview subject and a valued resource, however, reporters like me want
to talk to you about a random topic or general subject. This is a good thing. Seize the opportunity to solidify
your role as an ambassador for your team and the community as a whole.
Understand what I want and learn to trust the interview skills you have already learned. Revel in the win-win
nature of the situation. Retain the control you have been given and steer the interview in the direction you
want it to go. Ingratiate yourself to the team, school community and the public by being refreshing, tactfully
speaking your mind and exuding confidence.
